BATON ROUGE, La. – Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean stole the digital spotlight last weekend at the 2012 Bayou Country Superfest.
Research by Zehnder Communications shows both singers who opened for headline acts generated the most number of social media mentions during the two-day country music festival that ended May 27.
Zehnder compiled a variety of Superfest-related social media interactions in its “State of the Listen” info-graphic.
Social media posts peaked at nearly 2,000 on May 25. In addition, Zehnder found that Twitter was the overwhelming channel of choice, accounting for nearly 80 percent of posts among attendees.
