When Sony Pictures contacted Zehnder about utilizing Augmented Reality for the release of the movie Battle: Los Angeles to DVD, we took the opportunity to utilize our membership in the Layar® Partner Network to develop an Alien Invasion experience for users around the world. With this app, users can locate 3D Alien Command Centers attacking our capitals and historic landmarks, Alien Commanders on the ground, and Battle Drones in the sky. Fully integrated with social media, the layer invites users to capture photos of sightings and share via Facebook and Twitter, enter to win a PS3®, watch video of an upcoming video game release, and purchase the Blu-ray™.
